I understand this is just the set up but the one thing that bothers me is the neutral expressions, all I'm going to say is that having really neutral expressions and relatively calm scenes based as the "real" events would creat a contrast with the "fictional" ones made up by having said fictional ones involving only extreem expressions, situations, movements, etc...
Normally a pilot that doesnt really tell someone anything about the series is a bad move but I have to say, judging from the style of comedy involved, a montage of random unrelated events may actually prove to add to the series as a whole.
In short= 2 stars for setting up the series well, 3 stars for what promises to be an entertaining series and 2 stars for nyan cat music, -3 stars for a lack of information regarding the series, I dont know who either are, what their relationship is, and I got very little in way of distinction between reality and his storys (unless there was supposed to be none)
P.S. to anyone reading this: I was trying to be constructive by writing more than "good job" I dont normally give reviews like this so that should show my confidence in the series.

instinct vs morality
